It was just a well-suited match for shopping in Lydney with fantastic value for money. The breakfast items were decent, though timing was an issue. Start your day early to enjoy breakfast before heading out.

The room was snug and had a comfy bed. It also featured a private bathroom with a powerful shower, free toiletries, a TV, and heating. Free WiFi was available too. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with delicious food that reflects the Gurkha culture. Lovely garden area for parking. I felt welcomed throughout my stay.

Had a great time with friends at this inn! We visited Chepstow Racecourse and enjoyed some fantastic local hikes. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was a highlight. The garden area is lovely and provides ample parking which is a bonus for groups.

We did encounter some noise from the bar area which made it a bit challenging to relax at night. It wasn't a huge deal but worth keeping in mind.

I really enjoyed my stay here, as the cooked breakfast was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome. I loved taking leisurely walks to nearby Lydney Park and the scenic Boating Lake, both within just a few kilometers.
